Here at the Ear Lady of Derby we use the award winning Tympa Health microsuction ear wax removal system, along with the latest technology in video otoscopy-I can take digital images of the inside of your ears to show you before and after treatment and can also share these with your GP or health practioner for a direct referral.

HOME VISITS

Ear Wax Removal (microsuction)
Wax Removal £65
(wax removal in one or both ears ).

Ear Health Check £30 - (no wax removed).

Follow up visit - £30 per visit until blockage cleared

Footcare
Initial consultation appointment £40
(required by all new patients - assessment of current issues, medical history taken, neuropathy foot assessment, consent forms etc completed and also includes first treatment).

Routine General Footcare appointment / Corns £35
(Nails cut and filed,callus/hard skin removed, corns removed, footcream applied).

Athletes Foot Treatment £35
(includes routine general footcare as above plus anti fungal treatment and advice for your athletes foot infection).
Verruca Treatment (Verrutop) £40
(Verrucas are treated with Verrutop - an average of 3-4 treatments every 2 weeks are recommended)
Ingrown Toenail Treatment £40
(also includes routine general footcare treatment as above)
Fungal Nail Treatment - Emtrix £40
(Also includes Routine General Footcare as above)

Cancellations
No charge is made for cancellations made within 48 hours of a booked appointment, after this period a £10 cancellation fee is payable

THINGS TO NOTE
PREPARE YOUR EARS
​
This must to be done at home 5-7 days before your appointment.
Please apply olive ear drops or spray liberally to each affected ear twice daily for 5-7 days prior to your appointment.
This makes treatment more comfortable and reduces the likelihood of follow up visits being required (charged at £30 each for home visits).

For ear wax removal appointments I will need access to 2 hard chairs of the same height, a small table and a power supply point. This allows me to perform Microsuction ear wax removal safely and comfortably.

For footcare appointments please use a comfortable chair of your choice but allow me to have enough space to work

Unfortunately I am currently unable to offer a home visiting service for HMO properties.

For home visits I cover all of Derby and most of the Derbyshire dales, Burton on Trent, Long Eaton, surrounding villages and lots of areas in-between.

Microsuction
What is Microsuction?
Microsuction is the process of removing wax from your ears by using a small suction tube and probe to gently remove any excess wax in the ear.

During microsuction, we use a small suction tube and probe to gently remove excess wax from the ear canal.
